Memorial service with military honors 3:30 p.m. Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Victory Christian Center Chapel, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Inurnment at Fort Gibson National Cemetery.

Mike was born Michael E. Adams in Washburn, Illinois, the son of Dorothy M. (nee Sherman) and Samuel Ellis Adams. Mike's father was a sergeant in the Army Air Corp during World War II and went missing in April of 1943, before Mike was even a year old. His mother remarried to Edward H. Moreland who adopted Mike and his last name was changed to Moreland. He was raised with siblings Janice and Brian Moreland.
