Tessie Evelyn (Hedges) Berheim, 94 of Ellendale entered her Heavenly Home surrounded by loving family on December 6, 2014, at the Prince of Peace Care Center.

She was born to Wilford and Artie Mae Hedges September 28, 1920, at Agency, Iowa.

When she was a child, the family moved from Iowa to the Frederick, SD area where they farmed. The Hedges family hosted many area barn dances at which Tessie was frequently the pianist. It was there that she met Elmer Berheim. They were married at Aberdeen, SD on December 20th, 1937. To this union their nine children were born.

They farmed in the Elm Lake area of Forbes, ND. She enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, reading, sewing, and quilting. She very much enjoyed playing the piano at church, for guests, and at nursing homes, etc.

In addition to the love for her family, her greatest joy was her relationship with Jesus Christ and her love for the Word of God.
