Mrs. Gertrude Gano 90, mother of Mrs. A.B. Chance, Centralia,
died at 10:15 o'clock Monday night at the Boone County Hospital at Columbia, where she had undergone surgery.
Mrs. Gano was born in Clay County, near Liberty, Dec. 11, 1851. About 35 years ago she came to Centralia to make her home with her daughter and son-in-law and had resided here since.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Chance and Mrs. Margaret Greenlee, both of Centralia; one son, H.C. Gano, San Francisco, Calif.; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Services were at the Christian Church in Centralia, burial in the Centralia Cemetery.
