His papers conflict on the exact time of his enlistment. His Muster papers say he enlisted Feb. 1, 1815. But, his Application for Bounty Land, dated Jan. 4, 1851, states he entered the service in "the month of October previous to the declaration of peace..." Peace was officially declared Dec. 24, 1814, so this would make his enlistment in October, 1814. He was honorably discharged after serving his enlistment time of six months.∼Parents - UNKNOWN
