Charles Gilbert Bennett, age 76 of Clarksville, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Gateway Medical Center.
The family received friends from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, Clarksville TN.
A celebration of life service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Ruegg Funeral Home in Piedmont MO. Burial at Mountain View Cemetery, Des Arc MO with Military Honors. Visitation: Ruegg Funeral Home 11 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday.
Charles was born on October 11, 1938 in Columbia IL, the son of George T. Bennett and Maxine Adams Bennett. He was retired from The United States Army.
He is survived by his sister, Mary Michals; nieces, Toni Taylor, Sophie Michals, and Sara Michals; nephew, Charles Michals; several cousins; special friend, Ivonney Howland and a host of other family and friends.
