Rev. Clarence Casper Moore, 85 of Berlin formerly of Martinsburg, died Dec. 8, 2014 at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born May 27, 1929 in Scranton, son of the late Arnold F. and Elizabeth (Jeffreys) Moore.

Survived by his wife of 61 years the former Betty Jane Seeley; children: Kirk S., Somerset, Jeffrey S. married to the former Pamela Sanner, Berlin, Arnold S., Martinsburg, and Amy Elizabeth married to Michael Myers, Dover; grandchildren: Jarod, Andrea, Angela, Travis, Emily, Rebecca, Kira, Mason, and Ethan; great grandchildren: Colton, Jordanna, Bennett, and Casper; and sister-in-law Patricia Ann Carey and her family.

Graduate of Meyers High School, Muhlenberg College, and the Lutheran Theological Seminary of Philadelphia. He was a retired Lutheran Pastor with 60 years’ service. Member of Friedens Lutheran Church and associate member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin. He enjoyed serving his Lord, hunting, fishing, camping, and his family.

Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Friedens Lutheran Church where service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with viewing one hour prior to the service. Reverend Edward V. DeVore officiating. Interment Rockwood I.O.O.F. cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the charity of your choice.
