Margaret A. Jones, age 76, of 1808 Hamilton St., Manitowoc, died early Thursday morning, January 13, 1994 at the Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 15, 1994, at the St. Mary's Catholic Church. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Roman Zbieranski O.F.M. with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born January 22, 1918 in Antigo, Wis., daughter of the late John and Frances Leindecker Gelhausen. She married Warner D. Jones, November 28, 1944 at the St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the American Legion Post #88 Auxiliary of Manitowoc.
Survivors include her husband, Warner Jones, Manitowoc; one son and daughter-in-law; one son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Joanne Jones, Manitowoc; one daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Charles Irvine, Florida; three grandchildren, Brenda Funaro and her husband, Jim, Travis Irvine, Allison Irvine, all of Florida; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Rose Gelhausen, Antigo; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by one son, Terrance, two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at the St. Mary's Catholic Church from 9 a.m. Saturday until the time of services. There will be no Friday evening visitation. The Pfeffer Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
