Robert J. Castellano was born July 20, 1953, in Grand Rapids, the son of Peter and Marie (Lueck) Castellano. He was a 1971 graduate of Greenway High School, Coleraine, a member of the Hibbing Loyal Order of Moose Lodge, the Mesaba Lodge No. 255 A.F. & A.M., Hibbing, the AAD Shrine Temple, Duluth, and has been a maintenance supervisor for U.S.X. Minntac Plant in Mountain Iron for 26 years. He married Donna Pavich on Sept. 14, 1974, in Marble.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; a son, Shane Castellano, Pengilly; two daughters, Holly Muotka, Minneapolis, and Dawn Marie Melmark, St. Paul; his mother, Marie Castellano, Taconite; and a brother, Gary Castellano, Grand Rapids.

Preceding him in death was his father Peter Castellano in 1986.
