Hery work for FISHER BODY DIVISION in Grand Blanc over 30 years and retired in 1982.
He was an active outdoor sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing,He also enjoyed building and wood working around the house.

Cause of death...long illness of DiabetesBARBER, Henry Charles "Speedy" - Age 74, died Friday, February 15, 2002 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11:30AM Friday at Collins Memorial, 4305 Clio Rd., Assistant Pastor Bobbie Price officiating, Pastor Dale Lewis. Family Hour at 11AM. Visitation Thursday Noon-7PM at the funeral home. Burial in River Rest Cemetery. He was an active outdoor sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed building and wood working around the house. Henry leaves for those who remember him best; one son, Thomas G. Barber of Flint, MI; loving companion of 31 years, Patricia A. Yager, daughter, Ann Marie Burrell (John) Yager of Flint, MI; 2 granddaughters, Dominique Demetria Barber of Flint, MI and Kamilya Sade' Barber of Nashville, TN, Pinkie Pope; very close neighbors of 27 years, Grace Thomas, Demtrius Thomas and Sue George, all of Flint, MI; 2 sisters, Georgia Nunn of Flint, MI and Hortense (Marion) Goines of Kansas City, MO; special nephew, "Joe" Jonathan Webb and Ruby Lee Bryant, both of Flint; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews and cousins, along with a host of other loved ones.
