SAVANNAH - Sue Elizabeth Smith Anderson, age 84, died Sunday morning, December 7, 2014 at Hospice Savannah. Sue was born in Brunswick, Georgia and lived most of her life in Savannah.

She was the daughter of Ludie and George Smith. Mrs, Anderson graduated from Savannah High School and attended Shorter College in Rome, Georgia, She was a retired bank teller. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, John (Jack) O. Anderson Jr, two daughters, Lynn Mock and her husband Jim from Sharpsburg, Ga and Rev. Nancy Anderson of Greenville, SC; two grandchildren Rebecca Hellgeth and her husband Chris and Zachary Anderson Giebner and his wife Karla; four great- grandchildren, Cameron, Margaret, Coleman and Anderson; her brother Henry C and sister- in- law wife Margaret Smith, nephew Colbert Smith and his wife Dottie and their three sons; four nieces Kay Webber and her husband Dan and their two children; Carol Lewis and her husband Curtis and their three children; Peggy Judkins and her husband Holland and their two sons; and Donna Ruth Smith.

A Memorial service will be held on December 14, 2014 Trinity United Methodist Church, 225 West President Street, Savannah at 1pm. The Rev. Enoch Hendry will be officiating.
