WILLARD - Allen E. Albright, 79, of Willard, died Sunday at his home.
He was born Nov. 1, 1926 in Willard to the late Fred and Cleo (Hough) Albright.
He graduated from Willard High School with the class of 1944 and was a veteran of the Army. He was a retired dairy farmer.
He was a member of the Church of the Master, Steuben, Harvester's Farm Bureau Council, North Fairfield Masonic Lodge, Ohio Jersey Breeders Association, and the American Jersey Cattle Club. He was an avid reader.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Fred and Becky Albright of Norwalk, Dean and Connie Albright of Willard; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Mike Border of Lexington and Deb and Kit Angell of Norwalk; 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and a brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Faye Albright of Norwalk.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn (Wagener) Albright, whom he married Aug. 5, 1950 and who died Sept. 13, 1994; and brothers, Gerald and Walter Albright.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lindsey-Kocher Funeral Service, 323 Myrtle Ave., Willard. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Church of the Master in Steuben. The Rev Mitchell Jason will officiate. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven.
