Obituary (The Newark Advocate):

HEATH: Steven K. Allen, age 71, of Heath, passed away at his residence on December 12, 2014 while surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Zanesville, Ohio on November 23, 1943 to the late Harvey C. Allen and Ruth E. (McMillan) Allen Fuhrman of California.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Prior to retirement, he was an Instrument Production Foreman with the Newark Air Force Base for over 30 years. He was a member of the Newark Seventh Day Adventist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be missed by all.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sons, Charles (Jacki) Allen, Eric Allen and James (Arley) Allen; brother, Charles (Lori) Logston; sisters, Barbara Fondale and Anne Muller; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; special friend, Donna Goodell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca J. (Ponn) Allen.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Steven to DaVita Premier Kidney Center, 65 S. Terrace Ave, Newark, Ohio 43055. The family would like to thank DaVita Dialysis and the first responders from the City of Heath for all of the care and help provided to Steven.
