Requiem Mass was celebrated for Margaret M. Brelie, 62, from St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Wednesday, Sept. 19, 1984 with Father Roman Ludwig as Celebrant of the Mass. Mrs. Jan Kuklok was organist and Mrs. Donna Farrell was soloist. The selections were "Hail Mary, Gentle Women" and "Come to Me". St. Stephen's Church Choir also sang. Margaret passed away at St. Luke's Hospital in Fargo, Sunday, Sept. 16, 1984.
The former Margaret Moore was born Sept.22, 1921 in Wilsall, MT., the daughter of Edward and Marie Moore.
She moved with her parents to Lakota in August 1930 and to McHenry in 1931.They then moved to Larimore where she graduated from Larimore High School. She was a graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Devil's Lake. Following graduation she worked in Wilmar, MN.
She married Gordon Brelie in Larimore on September 23, 1950. The couple moved to California in 1952 and returned to Larimore in 1960 where they farmed.
Mrs. Brelie was a member of the Tuesday Club of Larimore, Republican Women and the North Dakota State Nurses Association, St. Stephen's Catholic Church and St. Anne's Circle. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, George.
Mrs. Brelie is survived by her husband, Gordon, Larimore; her son, Jack, Larimore; twin daughters, Sheri, Grand Forks, and Mrs, David Burkhalter (Geri), Tucson, Arizona; two brothers, Edward, Houston,Texas and Jack Moore, Burnsville, Minnesota.
Casketbearers were Jerry Meyers, John Farrell, Bill Shide, Ralph Oliver, Jim Larimore and Don Shide. Commital was in Bellevue Cemetery. (Brown Funeral Home, Larimore)

Peggy was the daughter of Edward F and Marie Gagnon Moore. She graduated from Larimore, ND High school, and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Devils Lake, ND. After graduation Peggy worked as a nurse in Wilmar, MN. She and Gordon (Gordie)Brelie were married in Larimore, ND on September 23, 1950. The Brelies had three children, John (known as Jackie or Jack) and twins - Sheri and Geri. Also survived by grandchildren Matt and Danny Burkhalter and Jason and Nicole Brelie.
