Fireman Dies
Overcome at a fire at the Akron Parcel Delivery Co. at 536 Washington st., Fireman Roy W. Smith died five hours later at his home. Smith had been driver of the assistant chief's car for 17 years. The fire at which he was overcome was caused by a spark from a welder's torch and caused $8000. damage.
