Kimberly R. “Kimmy” Blair, 17, died at 4:08 p.m. Friday (Dec. 12, 2014) at OSF Saint James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center, Pontiac, Illinois, as a result of an automobile accident.

Kimmy was born March 10, 1997 in Pontiac, Illinois,a daughter of Christy Canada. Survivors include her mother and father, Dennis “D.J." and Christy Blair; two brothers, Adam Blair and Donald Blair; paternal grandfather, Frank Cuchiara; maternal grandmother, Barbara Canada; two stepsisters; two stepbrothers and five half sisters.

Kimmy was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother and maternal grandfather.

Kimmy was a senior at Pontiac Township High School, where she was a football manager, a member of FFA, an honor student and member of Fellowship of Christian Students Club. Kimmy was accepted to Olivet Nazarene University in the fall for its athletic sports training program. Kimmy loved sports. She was involved in the First United Methodist Church and the Kulture Church, where she was active in small Bible groups.
