OLIVE BRANCH - A 24-year-old man missing from Olive Branch for six weeks was found dead in his truck in a wooded area Saturday.
Police officials would not release details about how Daniel Tyler Albritton, who would have turned 25 this week, died.
ATV riders located Albritton's truck, with him inside, more than one mile off of College Road near Payne Lane around 2 p.m. Saturday. It appeared the truck had been in the location since shortly after Albritton went missing on Sept. 14. Chief Gammage advised that it is a very remote area.
The Chief offered thanks to community members who helped to keep the search for Albritton alive, and particularly for spreading the description of his vehicle. The ATV riders who found Albritton's truck immediately linked it to him, Gammage said.

Brantley Funeral Home has charge.
