Beloved father, grandfather and brother peacefully entered into the presence of his Lord at the age of 95 years. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2007 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Saskatoon Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at Zoar Mennonite Church, Langham on Friday, August 17, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. conducted by Pastor Abe Buhler. Left to mourn are his loving children one son Orville (Carol) Epp of Langham, and their children Jana, Lori and Angela (Devin Collins); and one daughter Eileen (Jim Buschmann) of Red Deer, and their children Jerri (Kenton Whitelaw) and Jackie (Sean Robertson). Also left are his brothers Ben (Mary) Epp and Albert (Beth) Epp; sisters Lillian (Arthur) Nickel and Helen Thiessen; sisters-in-law Edna Epp, June Krahn and Violet (Jim Culling) of Penticton, BC. He was predeceased by his wife Lillian May on January 16, 1994, brothers Henry Epp in 1983, George and Cornelius in 1988 and Peter in 1993. Brothers-in-law Allan Krahn and William Thiessen both in 2003, sisters-in-law Hannah in 1975 and Elizabeth Epp in 2003. Aaron was born to Cornelius H. and Katharina Epp on the family farm. On November 7, 1943, Aaron married Lillian May Krahn. Together they shared 50 cherished years. This union was blessed with two children, Orville and Eileen. They enjoyed 28 years of farming before moving to Langham in 1971. This move did not mean retirement. Aaron was busy working on carpentry projects, delivering meals-on-wheels, helping at the New Horizon's Friendship Centre, and working for Percy Waldner at the lumberyard. He enjoyed curling until the age of 90 years. Aaron was also a personal chauffeur and school bus driver. He helped Lillian with gardening, canning, and work around the home. Aaron was a nostalgic pioneer. He loved vintage farm machinery, and attended threshing bees at various museums. Aaron moved to the Langham Senior Citizen's Home in 2002. There he appreciated the great care he received from the staff. The family express heartfelt thanks to the Langham Senior Citizen's Home, Pastor Abe Buhler, the Homemakers for preparing the fellowship lunch, the pallbearers, reader Marj Epp, the ushers and Don Sheppard and staff of Saskatoon Funeral Home. The family also expresses their gratitude for all the food, flowers, cards, kind words, and memorial donations made to the Zoar Mennonite Church Public Address System, or the Langham Senior Citizen's Home.
