Titanic Survivor. She was a second class passenger traveling with her husband Benjamin and seven year old daughter Eva to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. She boarded the Titanic in Southampton, England on April 10th 1912. Prior to boarding the Titanic she had strong premonitions of impending disaster. She refused to sleep at night remaining fully clothed, ready to respond to any imminent danger. Her fears were realized on the night of April 14-15 when the Titanic struck an iceberg on her maiden Atlantic crossing, resulting in the loss of 1,500 passengers and crew. She survived the sinking with her daughter Eva after being placed into lifeboat 14. They were rescued by the Carpathia and arrived in New York City on April 18th.
