RIDGEFIELD PARK — Manfred "Manny" Munoz, 48, died Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at home. Born in Bremerhaven, Germany, Mr. Munoz came to the United States at the age of 7. He grew up in Union City. He then resided in North Bergen, then Andover, before moving to Ridgefield Park. He was a 1976 graduate of Union Hill High School, Union City. A U.S. Navy veteran, Mr. Munoz formerly worked in ticket sales. Mr. Munoz is survived by two sons, Matthew Munoz, and his fiancee, Erica Milone, and Michael Munoz, all of Newton; one daughter, Kaela Munoz of Newton; his mother, Annalise J. Munoz of Union City; three brothers-in-law, Michael Speciale of Newton, Dino Speciale of Santa Fe, N.M., and Gregory Speciale of Newton; one sister-in-law, Ann-Margaret Speciale of Newton; the mother of his children, Michele Speciale Munoz of Newton, and his mother-in-law, Mona Caracciolo of Fort Lee. A memorial service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3511 Palisade Ave., Union City. Arrangements are under the direction of the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home in Newton.
