Nell Frances "Penny" Pennington-Kimmell Mt. Lebanon/Hobart/Summit Nell Frances "Penny" Pennington-Kimmell, age 82, of Mt. Lebanon, formerly of Hobart, IN and Summit, NJ, passed away at home in the loving care of her family on Thursday, May 12, 2005. Beloved wife for 62 years of Woody Kimmell; devoted mother of Karen Topping, Kyle Tomer, Kristin (Marnell), Kevin, Keith (Philise) and the late Kirk Kimmell; sister of Roger Dean, Bruce and the late John Dale Pennington; loving grandmother of Scott, Christopher, Kimberly, Lisa, Neil, Sarah, Jennifer, Julie, Michael, Graceanne, Carmelo, Gianna, Giankirk and Max; also survived by eight great-grandchildren. Penny was a member of Mt. Lebanon Women's Club Reviewers Group, Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, Tri Kappa Sorority, Friends of Mt. Lebanon Library and a volunteer at The Methodist Home (now Asbury Heights). Penny loved the symphony, theater, books and was a regular sponsor of the museums. A Memorial Service will be celebrated in Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, Saturday afternoon May 14, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Portage, IN will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, 3319 West Liberty Avenue, Pgh. PA 15216 or a charity of one's choice. Arrangements by Laughlin Memorial Chapel.
