Seth Morton Tucker was born in Vermont, raised in Ohio, became a lawyer in 1852, served as an Army Officer from Kansas in the Civil War, and practiced law in Iowa and Kansas.....Residence Atchison KS;..... Enlisted as a 1st Lieutenant (date unknown)....On 7/16/1861 he was commissioned into "I" Co. KS 10th Infantry.... He was Mustered Out on 8/19/1864
