Helena was the last and 15th child of James and Maria. She returned to Brigham City, Utah, with her parents when they returned there from Cache Valley in February 1900. She lived with her parents while they were alive, and then lived for a time with her sister Sarah.

On October 11, 1922, she married Jesse Owen Wight. This marriage, however, did not work out and they were later divorced. Helena died at Brigham City, Utah, January 26, 1950.
