Clifton A. Kruck, 77, formerly of 20 S. Seymour St., who resided at the Veterans Home at King for the past nine months, died Sunday at Veterans Hospital, Madison. He was born Feb. 7, 1898, at New Orleans, La., the son of Conrad and Henrietta Balk Kruck. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post. On Sept. 21, 1922, he married Martha Warleben in Fond du Lac. Mr. Kruck was formerly employed by the Soo Line Railroad, retiring in 1963. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Fond du Lac Stamp Club and Fond du Lac Coin Club. Surviving are his widow; three brothers, Raymond and Roy both of Manitowoc and Edward of Canada; and Donald Blattnef of Fond du Lac and his sister, Mrs. Ronald Duescher of Kellnersville who were reared by Mr. Kruck and his wife, A brother preceded him In death. Funeral services will ' be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Pastor Bernard Kuschel officiating. Burial will follow in Estabrooks Cemetery.
