Evelyn R. Ball, of Edneyville, died Monday, August 30, 2010 at Pardee Memorial Hospital. A native of Henderson County, she was born on July 1, 1946 to Eula Mae Drake Camp and the late Albert Fulton Camp. Mrs. Ball was a private duty nurse and a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Edneyville and had volunteered with the Salvation Army. In her spare time, she enjoyed little league baseball, watching the Atlanta Braves and travel.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Ball is survived by her husband of 47 years,; a son, two daughters, two brothers, and seven grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM, Friday, September 3, 2010 at Thos. Shepherd’s Church Street Chapel with Rev. Bryan Melton, Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00PM to 8:30PM, Thursday, September 2 at the funeral home.
