Albert H. Opperman 78, 332 Pine St. died Feb 28, 1980 at Memorial Hospital. He was born July 11, 1901 in Johnstown, son of Charles H. and Emma (Schmerer) Opperman. He was preceded in death by parents; first wife, Myrtle; brothers, Henry and Ralph; and sister, Helen. He is survived by widow, former Alice Waterman, and these children: Beverly, wife of Robert McKenzie, and Henry, Penny and Pauline, all of Johnstown; also grandsons, Robert and Kenneth McKenzie. Brother of Carl, Conemaugh; Clarence, Mrs. Norma Polentes and Mrs. Emma Sharretts, all of Johnstown; Louis, Meyersdale; Robert, Mountain Grove, Mo.; and Earl, Norwood. Member of Faith Chapel, Full Gospel Business Men's Association and Association for the Blind. Vice president of Johnstown Chapter, American Council of the Blind. He was a retired storekeeper. Friends were received at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, where services were held with the Rev. Leslie E. Springer. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
