81, returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, December 18, 2014.

Mr. Bleemel was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and he served the United States of America in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. Mr. Bleemel was also a Bullitt County Magistrate and Jailer.

Among those who preceded him in death include, his parents, Matt and Wava Bleemel; and his brothers, Jack, Bernie, Ray and Douglas Bleemel.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 54 years, Mary Bleemel; daughters, Angie McDonald, Tammie Moore (Ronnie), Jane Barnes (David) and Sandy Peters (Geoff); six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Theresa Fortner, Lillian "Sug" Hardy, Doris Kalewski, Wyota Maraman, Linda Mitchum; and brothers, Billy and Joe Bleemel.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd., use John Harper entrance) with interment in Mt. Washington Cemetery.
