Mrs. Katherine Messick, 84, died of apoplexy at 8 am Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George W. Hodgson, at Galloway.
She leaves 5 sons and 4 daughters. Mrs. Mary Barrett, a daughter, and Joseph Messick, a son, live in Franklin. The others, with the exception of Mrs. Hodgson, lived in the west.
Services will be at the Hodgson home at 3 pm Tuesday. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
