W. BUTLER SIMMONDS DIES at NURSING HOME

W. Butler Simmonds, 65, of 5400 Kilgore Ave., died Wednesday night at the Williams Nursing Home after an illness of six months.

Surviving are two brothers, Dr. E.B. Simmonds, Muncie, who is vacationing in Florida, and Dr. Clen Simmonds, Anderson, and one sister, Mrs. Cooperider, Indianapolis.

Funeral arrangements will be made at the Meeks Mortuary.

Funeral services for W. Butler Simmonds, 65, of 5400 Kilgore Ave., who died Wednesday night, will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday at Meeks Mortuary.

Mr. Simmonds died at the Williams Nursing Home after an illness of six months. He was a native of Greensburg, going from there to Indianapolis, where he was a hotel worker, and 20 years ago from Indianapolis to Muncie.

Since he came to Muncie he had worked on the mink ranch operated by his brother, Dr. E.B Simmonds, on Ind. 32 west of Muncie.

He is also survived by another brother, Dr. C.E. Simmonds of Anderson, and a sister, Mrs. Clyde Cooperider, Indianapolis, and several nieces and nephews.

His wife died in about 1920.

Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary.
