Mary Leonard Bealor, wife of Joseph Bealor, died at her home in Markelville, Tuesday of last week, after an illness of two years from rheumatism and stomach trouble. She was aged 71 years, 2 months and 2 days.
The deceased was a daughter of J. C. and Rachel (Henry) Leonard and was born in Juniata township. She was the second wife of Mr. Bealor and had no children. She is survived by her husband, two brothers, two sisters and ten step-children.
She was a consistent member of the Lutheran church and a good woman.
The funeral was on Saturday, the services being conducted in the Markelville church by Rev. L. Stoy Spangler, of Newport, and burial was made in the Newport cemetery.
