Born on Sunday, January 31, 1926, in Aitch, PA she was the daughter of the late John H. and Julia (Horning) Suba.
Mrs. Brulia was a plain and simple woman who took a deep interest in her family and friends.
She had a great interest in bird species, polka music and was a devout Christian.
She was a 1944 graduate of Huntingdon High School and a 1972 graduate of the Thompson Institute She was a former employee of Owens-Corning Fiberglass, American Cyanamid, and Arrow Shirts.
In 1991 she retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
She was the widow of George Domenic Brulia, whom she married in 1952, and celebrated 22 years of marriage until his death in 1974.
Surviving is a son, Timothy Brulia, and wife Holly of Enola, a daughter Susanna of Camp Hill. A sister Martha Treece of James Creek. 2 granddaughters, Scarlet and Grace who reside with Timothy and Holly in Enola. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 811 Shermans Valley Road, New Bloomfield. Rev. Robert F. Sharman will be the celebrant.
Burial will be in New Bloomfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the Boyer Family Funeral Home, 101 W. Main St., New Bloomfield on Tuesday 9-10:30 AM
