James Edward Buhe, age 74, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014.
Jim joined the Illinois State Police as a trooper on March 28, 1966. He served in District 4, Crestwood. Jim was first promoted on September 16, 1980. He retired with over 26 years of service at the rank of Master Sergeant on January 31, 1993. He was a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of Police.
He was the beloved husband of Nancy (nee Johnson) Buhe. Loving father of Timothy (Sharon) Buhe & Jennifer (Dennis) Connelly. Proud grandfather of eight. Jim was the devoted son of (the late) Charles and Dorothy (nee Klien) Buhe; the dear brother of Steven (Kathy) Buhe and Kathy (Bernie) Roche. Jim is also survived by many nephews, nieces and friends.
