Funeral Service were held Friday, December 26, at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, Osseo.
Gene grew up in the rural community of Lewisville, attended Gustavus Adolphus College, served in the US Air Force, and graduated from Mankato State University. He taught math in the Robbinsdale Area School District prior to retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cyril and Laura, and his sister, Joyce.
