Ervin J. Nuhs, 68, of 717 Manitou St., Manitowoc, died Monday evening, October 5, 1987 at Holy Family Medical Center. Funeral services will be 9:30 am Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 am at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. James J. Stamborski will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Nuhs was born September 11, 1919 in the Town of Manitowoc Rapids, Manitowoc County, son of the late John and Rose Leibel Nuhs. He was employed as an electrician for Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc., retiring in 1981.
Survivors include two sisters and a brother-in-law, Geraldine and Earl Herman and Etta Harmes; a stepsister, Joan Dueben, all of Manitowoc; nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 pm to 9 pm Wednesday, where a prayer service will be 7 pm.
