Michael O'Connor, 71, former Manitowoc resident retired lake seaman, died Tuesday in Milwaukee.
Funeral services will be held from the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home Friday at 8:30 a.m. and at nine o'clock from the Sacred Heart church the Rev. Louis Schorn officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
Mr. O'Connor was born in this city in 1872 and when a young man became a crew member on sailing craft out of this city. About 20 years ago he moved to Milwaukee.
Survivors are three brothers, William, of Port Huron, Mich,. Daniel and Thomas of Chicago; sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Hennessey of Chicago.
The body arrived here today and may be viewed at the funeral home until the hour of the services.
