Edwin O. Oestreich, age 66, of 1028 S. 20th St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday, December 16, 1998, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 19, 1998, at Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Manitowoc, Rev. Alan Sunn will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Edwin was born November 26, 1932, at Watertown, Wis., son of the late Edwin H. and Verona H. Guse Oestreich. He grew up and was educated in Manitowoc and graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1951. He was employed at Mirro Company retiring in 1995.
He was married to Mary Lou Stuiber, August 9, 1958, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. They celebrated 40 years of marriage together. Edwin enjoyed camping and traveling.
Survivors include his wife Mary Lou; aunt and uncle, Ruth and Norman Huggett, Watertown; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Hazel Stuiber, Manitowoc; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Joanne and Ron Miller, De Pere; nieces and nephews include Ronnie and Tracy Miller, Westfield, Ind., Linda Miller, Mazomanie, Wis., and her fiancé Michael Candella, Drew and Bailey Miller, Westfield Ind.; cousins and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by aunts and uncles.
Relatives and friends may call at Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Manitowoc after 11 a.m. Saturday until the time of services.
