MISS O'GRADY DEATH SUNDAY
Chicago Woman Dies At Home Of A Sister Here
Seriously ill for several weeks, Miss Agnes O'Grady died Sunday morning at the home
of her sister, Mrs. John Gallagher, 1120 South 11th street.
Miss O'Grady, a native of the town of Meeme and graduate of the old north side high
school in this city was well known here although she had been in Chicago for a number
of years. Up to the time of her illness she held a responsible position in the health department
offices at the city hall in Chicago. She was a graduate of Chicago university and had attended
Northwestern University for two years as an undergraduate.
Survivors are five sisters, Mrs. P. J. Hayes, Mrs. John Gallagher, Mrs. Anton Karnofsky,
and Mrs. Joseph Clark, Manitowoc, and Mrs. Susan Kinnane, Buffalo, N.Y., and two
brothers, Edward O'Grady, Iron Mountain, Mich., and Hilary O'Grady, Chicago.
The body was taken to the Gallagher home, 1120 South 11th street, from the Pfeffer
funeral home this afternoon. Funeral services will be from the Gallagher home at 8:30 a.m.
Wednesday. A requiem mass will be celebrated at the St. Boniface Catholic Church
at 9 a.m. and burial will be in Calvary cemetery.

at St. Boniface Catholic church Wednesday morning were Mr. and Mrs. Hilary
O'Grady and children, Miss Mary O'Grady, Miss Catherine Laux and Herbert
Johnston, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Ed O'Grady and daughter, Patricia, Iron
Mountain, Mich.; Miss Olive Flaherty and Miss Wells, Milwaukee; Mrs. William
Wall, Antigo; Mrs. Will Rebechek, Francis Creek, and mr. and Mrs. August
Westermeyer, Sheboygan.
