Robert Newton Flynn was born April 16, 1846 the son of George Flynn & Evelina Wilson .At the age of 18 he Enlisted in Company E, Virginia 43rd Cavalry Battalion in Aug 1864.Under Col. John S Mosby & Captian Samuel Chapman departed service 27 of April 1865 at surrender. On 10 SEP 1868 in Fauquier County Virginia he married Julia Ann Flynn d/o John Flynn & Sarah Ball , together they raised nine children .

Sarah Anne Stone Warren Granddaughter of Robert verified his burial in Family Lot owned by Fleetwood Flynn, per letter written by her in 1983 in my possession ,I have been unable to locate any existing records.Sadly I was informed in a phone call to Sharon Cemetery in 2014 that the caretaker there has no clue who is buried there or when only who owns lots , she claimed that burials continue to occur there and she is never notified . She claims to only learn about new burials from walking the cemetery and seeing the freshly dug lots.
