Edrie June (Tabor) Bonner, age 80, of Lubbock died peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on December 20, 2014. Born October 18, 1934 in Oxford, Mississippi, to the late Cletis Harley and Edrie Viola (Duckworth) Tabor. She married Gerald Adrain Bonner Sr., on September 05, 1954. Her family was blessed by her calling to be a fulltime wife, mother and grandmother. On November 22, 2014 her loving husband of over 60 years preceded her in death. Survived by Daughter Gerita (David) Holt of Wilson, Texas, sons Jerry and Wayne (Terri) Bonner of Lubbock, 10-grandchildren, 15-great grandchildren, sisters Lindel Prosser and Judy McDonald, brother-in-law Bobby Bonner and very special David and Carrie Hayslip family.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 26th from 5-7pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 1:00PM in the Abbey Chapel at Resthaven Funeral Home & Memorial Park.
