Claus Ording, Old Resident, Dies, age 73
Had been a resident in County since he was 23 years old Claus Ording, an old resident and for years engaged in business as a mason contractor, died at his home, 1009 Columbus Street, last night, death following a two week illness. He was 73.
Mr. Ording, who was born in Germany, came to Manitowoc as a young man of 22 and had made his home here since.
Decedent is survived by his wife, one son and four daughters. Nicholas of Sheboygan, Mrs. Simon Malloy, of Milwaukee, Mrs. George Herman, Mrs. John Pollock of this city, and Mrs. Andrew Clark of Chicago.
The funeral will be held Monday morning fron St. Boniface church. Mr. Ording was a member of the Catholic Knights and the local order will escort the body to Calvary.
