parents in this city died over the Easter holiday period when Mrs.
Michael Pankratz, widow of the former grocer and veteran county
official here passed away. The death of Mrs. Pankratz, nee Emma

morning and was due to infirmities attendant upon advanced age. Her
death followed that of her husband by about four and one-half months.
Mrs. Pankratz was born at the corner of Seventh and Jay streets on
December 17, 1847 and was 82 years of age at the time of her death.
On June 18, 1874, she married Michael Pankratz and the couple celebrated
their golden wedding anniversary about five years ago. Her entire lifetime
was spent in Manitowoc county and she was active in the affairs of her
church and family until she was obliged to live a more or less retired
life during the past several years. She was a member of the Christian
Mothers of the St. Boniface church.
Immediate survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Louise Fullmer of Manitowoc
and Mrs. Emma Zweidinger of Cleveland, Ohio; one son, A.C. Pankratz of
Waukesha and Alex of Manitowoc and Oliver of Sandusky, Ohio. In addition
