Mrs. Anna Paul, 76, of 829 S. 25th St., Manitowoc, died Saturday evening in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Pfeffer Funeral home and 11 a.m. in St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Philip Hoffman will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Paul, nee Anna Kubsch was born Sept. 19, 1901 in the Town of Franklin, daughter of the late Matt and Josephine Naidl Kubsch. She was married to Edward D. Paul June 14, 1922 in Maple Grove. After marriage they farmed in the Town of Franklin until 1958 when they moved to Manitowoc. Mr. Paul preceded her in death Sept. 19, 1967.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Edward J. and Lydia Paul; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mildred and Emil Swetlik and LaVerne and Kenneth Denk of Manitowoc; two brothers, Victor Kubsch of Manitowoc and Clarence Kubsch of Two Rivers; a sister, Mrs. Earl (Olive) Schmitt of Manitowoc; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Estella Kubsch and Mrs. Anna Kubsch and a brother-in-law, Edward Spurney of Manitowoc; 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. A son, Marvin; four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. Friends may call in Pfeffer Funeral Home 4 o’clock to 9 o’clock this Monday afternoon, where a prayer service will be at 8 o’clock.
