Mr. Peterman was born April 8, 1912 in Manitowoc, son of the late Charles and Verna Novak Peterman. He was educated in St. Mary School, Manitowoc and served in the U.S. Armed Forces from 1941 to 1945. Mr. Peterman had been manager of Milwaukee area apartments, retiring in 1977.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Virgie Peterman of Florida and a son, Roger of Milwaukee; two daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Patsy) Ording of West Bend and Mrs. Thomas (Mary Jane) Iwinski of Milwaukee; a sister, Mrs. Frank (Celia) Gersek of Manitowoc; a sister-in-law, Anna Peterman and 12 grandchildren. A son, Charles; two brothers, Frank and Charles and two grandchildren preceded him in death.
Friends may call in Schneider and Purath Funeral Home, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday where relatives and friends and member of Daughters of Isabella will meet for a prayer service at 7 p.m.
