Francis L. Peterman, age 64, of 1815 Marshall St., Manitowoc, died Thursday evening, March 2, 1995, at his residence.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 6, 1995, at 9:30 a.m. at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 .m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Roman Zbieranski O.F.M. Graveside Military Rites will be accorded at Calvary Cemetery by the VFW Otto Oas Post #659.
He was born November 9, 1930, in Manitowoc, Wis., son of the late Frank and Anna Nemetz Peterman. He served in the United States Army from 1949-1952 during the Korean Conflict. He was awarded the Purple Heart for injuries he incurred during his military service. He married the former Dorothy Korstad April 1, 1960, in Illinois. Mr. Peterman was owner and operator of Peterman Contractors for many years. He was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church and the VFW Otto Oas Post #659.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Peterman, Manitowoc; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Gary Peterman, Two Rivers, Brian and Kelly Peterman, Fort Polk, La., James and Connie Peterman, Oshkosh; three daughters and one son-in-law, Lori Scott and her fiancé, Raymond Baranczyk, Manitowoc; Linda Peterman and her fiancé, Russell McNeece, Crystal Springs, Miss., Teri and Joel Klusmeyer, Manitowoc; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ernest and Marilyn Peterman, Allen and Carol Peterman, all of Manitowoc; one sister and brother-in-law, Delores and Victor Berger, Denmark; eight grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Lester.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Sunday. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. by Father Roman.
