He attended Our Lady of Lourdes grade school and high school, graduating with the class of 1957.
On July 9, 1960 Chuck married Roberta "Bobbie" Therriault. The ceremony was performed by his uncle, Rev. Fr. Charles J. Reinhart. During their 54 years of marriage, they resided in various locations including Escanaba, MI; Biloxi, MS; Two Rivers and Green Bay.
Chuck worked in a bakery during high school and then went on to culinary school in Madison, WI. Throughout his career, he worked as an Executive Chef at various hotels, restaurants and country clubs. He was also an apprentice chef instructor for the Food Service Industry Training Project. He retired from Green Bay Correctional Institute in 2005. Chuck was a participant in the Wisconsin Longitudinal Study of the Class of 1957.
He enjoyed cross country skiing, watching the Packers and attending his grandchildren's sporting events. Chuck especially loved being with his children and their families and bringing treats to his granddoggies. He will be dearly missed by his 11 grandchildren.
Chuck was a member of the Knights of Columbus and served as an usher at St. Bernard Catholic Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Roberta "Bobbie" Reinhart;
children: Charles J. (Carol) Reinhart, Mishicot, WI; Robert (Kim) Reinhart, Francis Creek, WI; Cheryl Eggerding, Comstock Park, MI; Andrew (Missy) Reinhart, Escanaba, MI;
grandchildren, Casey, Connor Reinhart; Brett, Bradley, Breanna Reinhart; Daniel, Alyssa, Jacob Eggerding; Blaine, Braden, Breleigh Reinhart;
sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Mary Lee and Donald Trautner;
and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John F. Reinhart.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside Lane, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral Mass 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church with Rev. Mark Vander Steeg officiating.
