HENDERSON — Abigail Elaine Walton, 56 of Henderson, was born on October 11, 1958 in Henderson Texas to the parentage of Murphy and Elaine Jacobs Walton.
She attended the Henderson public schools and was a graduate of the Class of ‘77. Abigail united with the Mother Zion Baptist Church at an early age and worked for the Henderson Independent School District until her health failed.
Abigail was preceded in death by one sister, Marian ‘Nette” Johnson and her grandparents, Charlie and Susie Jacobs and Manuel and Terry Walton.
On December 17, 2014, Abigail Elaine Walton departed this life.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her parents, Murphy and Elaine Walton; daughter, Mitzie Walton of Henderson, Texas; two sons, Michael Walton (Deshani) of Dallas, Texas; Sabrien Walton (Neka) of Henderson, Texas; five sisters, Terry Freeney, Rita Walton, Yolanda Duffie, Regina Jordan, and Kellior Freeney all of Henderson; six brothers, Michael Walton (Elisa) of Henderson, Texas, Murphy Walton (Sharon) of Bryan, Texas, Richard Freeney, Brian Freeney, Kevin Freeney and Adolphus Murphy all of Henderson, Texas; grandchildren, Arqez Walton, Armounte’ Walton, Jasmine Simon, Jordan Walton, Tahj Walton, Keasia Hart, JaBria Washington, Corey Daniels, Justice Walton, JaMaurion Walton, Jermi’J Walton, and Braylon Mapps; special friends, Debra Thurmond, Deborah Martinez, Monica Ford, Barbara Ann Devereaux, and Elisa Zamacona; many other relatives and friends.
