Mrs. Vivian Butterworth-- 102, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2003 in Brewton, AL. Mrs. Butterworth was a native of Birmingham, AL, a former resident of Mobile, and a resident of Flomaton since 1992. She was a member of the VFW Auxilary AARP and a member of the Friendship Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin M. Butterworth, and three sons, Calvin Butterworth, Jr., James E. Butterworth and Gene A. Butterworth. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Frank Green of Flomaton; sixteen grandchildren; twenty seven great-grandchildren and eighteen great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Monday, September 8, 2003 at 1:00 PM at the Mobile Memorial Garden Cemetery with Rev. Mike Henderson officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 7, 2003 between 5:30 PM and 9:00 PM at the Eastside Chapel Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be her great-grandsons.
