John Richard Abbott was born about 1852, in Hounslow, Middlesex, the child of Thomas. He married Eliza Mary Wade on 7th August 1876, in Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey. They had seven children in 13 years. He died on 8th February 1918, in Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey, at the age of 66, and was buried on Friday, 15th February 1918.
