ORLAND (E-R) -- A Mass will be said for lifelong Orland resident Frank Vincent Simons, 21, at 11 A.M. Tuesday at St. Dominic's Catholic Church in Orland. He died Friday from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Orland.
Born July 12, 1964, in Willows, Simons moved to Orland where he graduated from Orland High School in 1983.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank "Sonny" Simons of Orland; two sisters, Veronica Gomes of Bayless and Vivian Simons of Orland; his paternal grandmother, Emmy Simons of Orland; and his maternal grandmother Opal Winsett of Elko, Nev.
A rosary will be recited at 7:30 tonight at St. Dominic's Catholic Church in Orland. The Rev. Michael Dermody will officiate at Tuesday's service. Burial will follow at Orland Catholic Cemetery.
