Van Tol, Ann L. Essexville, Michigan Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away Monday, April 24, 2006, at the age of 60. Ann was born March 15, 1946 in Bay City to the late Joseph R. and Beulah M. (Ryers) LaMere. She was married to Lawrence F. Van Tol June 8, 1968; he survives her. Ann had been employed at General Motors for thirty years prior to her retirement in June 1995. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Ann enjoyed her summers camping in East Tawas and vacationing in Florida every winter. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her grandson. Surviving besides Larry, her loving husband of 38 years, are her son Todd J. (Heather) Van Tol of Chicago; her grandson Andrew and another grandchild expected in September; her sisters: Mary Jo (Richard) Morgan of Grand Haven, and Lynn E. (Dale) Wilson of Bay City; her sisters- in-law and brothers-in-law Eugene (Eileen) Van Tol, Janice (William) Tacey, Robert (Marijo) Van Tol, Rosemary (Mark) Kustuch, and Susan (Richard) Hoffman, and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her parents-in-law James and Florence Van Tol, and her cherished nephew Kevin Morgan.
