Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Farming for Candy L. Willemsen age 22 of Roscoe who died Saturday, March 18, 2006 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Albany. Reverend Fred Kutter will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Daniel-Anderson Funeral Home in Paynesville and one hour prior to the services at the church on Wednesday.

Candy was born on September 19, 1983 in Paynesville, Minnesota to Brian and Margie (Albrecht) Willemsen. She grew up in Roscoe and attended school in Paynesville. Candy will be remembered as a fun loving, outgoing and confident person. She loved her music, driving her car and especially her friends and family.

Survivors include her parents, Brian and Margie of Roscoe; sisters, LuAnn Veurink and her husband Lugene of Milaca, Kim Fette and her husband Chad of Albertville; grandmothers, Dorothy Willemsen and Irene Albrecht both of Roscoe; and her niece, Madison Fette.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Jacob Willemsen and Orlin "Slim" Albrecht and a nephew Gabriel Veurink.
